Listen here to the discussion how bidding on brand should work:
In today's episode we have Julie leading us on another great topic, a topic that we really should never stop thinking about because it's one of those things where you think about the basics. We're going back to basics, thinking about the fundamentals of the different kind of keywords that you need to bid on.
And today we talk about bidding on brand terms. Do you bid on brand terms? Is it a strategy that you keep you know, thinking about? Are there situations or circumstances that you think is an absolute must? Are there situations that you shouldn't bid on brand terms, and what are the misunderstood aspects of it?
So we discuss about that and see whether, well, for the likes of myself who have been in the industry for over 15 years now whether things have changed from what we thought they were way back when in regards to what to do in terms of bididng on brands.
Questions covered: Q1: What are your general thoughts on bidding on brand terms in search?
Q2: Are there any situations or circumstances when you think it is an absolute MUST to bid on brand terms?
Q3: Are there any situations or circumstances when you think it is an absolute must to NOT bid on brand terms?
Q4. What do you think is the most misunderstood aspect of bidding or not bidding on brand terms for PPCers?
Q5. What do you wish clients or stakeholders understood better about bidding on brand terms?
